In this video, I take you through my assembly and setup of the cyclic servos and run through the complete head setup on my Thunder Tiger Raptor E550FBL heli. This includes swash leveling, min/max pitch range, max cyclic deflection, and limiting swash travel.
I have found that there are various methods to head setup. There are several ways to achieve this, but this is my way. There may be other methods that work equally well, or better. As usual, don’t get hung up on the specifics — such as what tools I use — but rather focus on the principles. No matter what your method, you are still going to want to ensure that these things are completed.
