This is a quick video to show how to prep your PCB on the top body plate of the Tarot 680 Pro Hexacopter. It’s really quick because there is not much too it. You need to get some solder pillows on the pads so that adding the wires will be simple after you mount your hardware.
I also mention how the battery terminals should be on the back of the plate, but because of the canopy mounting holes, actually end up on the front of the plate. I’ll talk about this more later, but just know that this is going to be important for you if you want to run a canopy. Not a big deal to overcome, it just means routing the battery wires through the center or perhaps adding new canopy mounts to flip the mounting location.
Thanks to Stuart who pointed this out to me as I was getting started with the build.
