In this video I demonstrate how I have decided to mount my ZTW Spider 40A ESCs on my 680 Pro hexacopter. The complication exists because the ESC’s are too large to fit directly under the motor as the multirotor was originally designed. Some people opt to just move the ESCs to the body panels, and some people opt to find creative ways to make the ESCs work under the motors. I chose the latter option. I think my method works well, and requires minimal effort and customization. It’s also easily reversible should I decide to change later on.
