In this video, I take you along as I cut the three booms and the front spacer for the body. I then drill out the mounting holes on the booms. Then, I go over my prop selection (and directions) and show how I have decided to mount the props to the DT750 motors. I also cut the motor shafts down to size using a freezer storage bag to protect the motor from the metal flakes. Finally, I mount the motor mounts and motors to each of the three booms.
Note, I haven’t actually covered this in the videos (yet) but I do have a slight right tilt of the rear motor once mounted on the boom, as David Windestål recommends in his build video.
