In this video, I hope to simplify the instructions for performing the “Reflex1” modification to your Taranis in order to significantly reduce the audio buzz. This is one of several mods I will be performing to the audio circuit. I wanted to do each mod separately and test the results as I go. In this video, I show the results of my baseline testing, and the testing after I completed the mod. I didn’t come up with any of these mods. I am just implementing the ones that seem to work and are within my ability.
I hope you find this video helpful. If you want to read the thread on this… it starts here:
Basic mod: 1000uF cap on VCC and GND of audio daughterboard on Rev A Taranis.
The capacitor I ended up using was at 10V. It’s a bit big, but it worked. You could get by with a smaller one for sure.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ft69r6m5Sxo
