17 : Tarot 450 Pro V2 Build : Skids, Tail, and Blades

Wow…it seems like just yesterday when I was pulling all of these parts out of a box for the first time. And now…it seems like the maiden flight is right around the corner! I still have quite a bit of work to do, but the build is moving along nicely. I got to spend some pretty decent quality time at the work bench today.

In this video I put the skids on, get the tail boom installed into the frame, and I put the blades on (mostly just for fun). I learned a lesson with regard to what order to put the ball links on in comparison to the anti-rotation bracket! hahaha! You pros will notice right away! I did correct it before the end of the video. Coming up next will be the tail servo setup and install, and then I will probably move into the mechanical setup with the flybarless system software.

Oh…and I mention I lost a screw in the video. Well…I found it. I just had to clean up the bench a bit! : )
======================

Now that I have my new Tarot 450 Pro V2 Kit, it’s time to get started on the build. Join me as I approach this build from a completely novice perspective. I’ll be learning as I go, but hopefully someone can learn something from this…or at least get the courage to do it on your own.

Thanks for watching!
